About Bailey Zimmerman
“Keep taking action every day and keep grinding, but don’t get off what you think you’re supposed to be focused on, because you’re supposed to be focused on that. There’s something bigger than all of us. There’s a testimony to that. Be freaking patient, because that stuff can happen tomorrow,“ Bailey Zimmerman told Apple Music in 2025—his career a testament to those words.
The singer’s blend of old-school outlaw twang and arena-rock horsepower makes him one of the heavier voices in the pop-friendly 2020s country scene. Born in Louisville, Illinois, in 2000, Zimmerman came up on his trucker dad’s country radio and his mom’s hair metal, both of which inform his gritty rasp.
While working at a gas pipeline, Zimmerman posted a demo of his hard-rocking kiss-off “Never Comin’ Home,” which subsequently exploded via social media. He then made music his full-time focus after his two RIAA-certified platinum singles—the black-and-blue “Fall in Love” and heartbreaker “Rock and a Hard Place”—established him as a bold new voice in popular country.
In 2023, he was named an Apple Music Up Next honoree, the same year he released his first full-length, Religiously: The Album—a ballad-heavy, unflinching heartbreaker. His 2025 sophomore effort Different Night Same Rodeo struck a slightly happier chord and stretched his muscles with collaborators like Luke Combs, The Kid LAROI, and Diplo. “With this album, my life has been awesome. I’ve been touring all over the world. I’ve been writing songs. I’m taking care of my family.”
