About The Bug Club

Artist Biography

The Bug Club are a Welsh indie combo whose creative, garage- and punk-infused songs are as energetic as they are eccentric. Originating as a U.K. blues-style act, their sound grew leaner and catchier at the start of the 2020s with releases like Green Dream in F# (2022) and the double album Rare Birds: Hour of Song (2023). Their reputation grew as well, and in 2024 they signed with Sub Pop, which issued their third studio album, On the Intricate Inner Workings of the System, later that year.
