In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I've been writing since I was a little kid. My childhood best friend and I would write songs together, and I remember singing one of our songs together in front of our second-grade class. We still have some old recordings, but I wish we had more.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brand New, The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me Radiohead, OK Computer ZillaKami, DOG BOY These three albums are full of amazing songs. I can listen from start to finish and not hate a single one. Some of the sadder songs quiet my brain and give me a sense of peace, and the more upbeat songs generate intense energy. Balance is key.

It's about the fear of pouring your heart into someone and ending up alone—the fear of starting something you know won't end well.
