About Vague Lanes
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I think hearing and taping Trisome 21's Last Song from KFJC. I had just begun to play bass and the delay on the bassline had an immediate effect on my playing style.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lowlife, Eternity Road (Best Of) [Remastered] Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Talk About the Weather These albums are incredible journeys in themselves. They also are great inspirational signposts for the Vague Lanes sound.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hollow Clock” This was the last song written for our album Foundation and Divergence. It is centered on Badger's bassline which the entire song was written around. I love the gauziness of it and it is maybe the first time I was happy truly with the vocals.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It has all happened so fast. I think the overall reception of Vague Lanes by the post-punk/goth/darkwave communities is quite memorable.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play festivals and possibly some dates in Europe would be nice.
