Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I've been playing trumpet since 5th grade. My first live performance on guitar was "Breaking The Law" by Judas Priest. The first song I ever sang live was "Break On Through" by The Doors.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Rancid, ...And Out Come the Wolves (20th Anniversary Edition)
The Cranberries, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Let’s Face It
All three of these albums are very emotive, have captivating lyrics, and feature phenomenal instrumentation. There is a lot of rawness and originality in all three of these albums, while still maintaining commercial appeal.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Getting my longtime hero Dicky Barrett of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones to collaborate and provide guest vocals on our original song "Division Line" has to be the coolest moment of Sotah's career so far.
