Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I made my guitar teacher show me how to play the first single by Nickelback. He acted disappointed, but I think history has shown me to be in the right.

Hüsker Dü, New Day Rising Teenage Fanclub, Grand Prix my bloody valentine, ep's 1988-1991 and rare tracks These are the blueprints for Hotline TNT. Loud guitars with distortion turned on and catchy vocal melodies.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Protocol” This might still be the best Hotline TNT song, I remember it coming together in the studio with Silicone Prairie. We had the keyboard part repeating on a loop in the bedroom, I knew it was going to be popular and it is.
