In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a child growing up on a farm, I was terrified to sing in front of people, but I used to always go out on the driveway and pretend it was a stage and sing out to no one.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bright Eyes, Cassadaga Manchester Orchestra, A Black Mile To The Surface Taylor Swift, folklore All three of these albums have really solid songwriting and production that I can listen to at any time. A Black Mile is filled with epic moments and emotions, folklore was a great turn in T. Swift's collaboration, and Cassadaga is a B.E. classic.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got to open for the Blind Boys of Alabama and Marc Cohn at the Mn Zoo Amphitheater in 2016.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Lots. The EP that will be released in full in January 2025 is a portion of a 14-song album that I hope to complete recording next year. Also touring.
