About Zhiar Ali
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Upon receiving my first laptop, I immediately delved into the world of music charts. It was there that I stumbled upon Evanescence. Little did I realize then, the profound influence they would have on me, inspiring me to create my own music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Anyma, Genesys
Evanescence, The Open Door
Viktoria Modesta, Counterflow - EP
I find myself drawn to the dark elements of “The Open Door”. Additionally, there’s a brilliantly reimagined composition by Mozart that I love. Currently, “Genesys” and “Counterflow” have captured my fascination with their experimental style.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Miles Away”
Definitely Miles Away. Firstly because it is my first official release, secondly because I wrote it when I was much younger but did not want to do anything with it because I thought there's always room for improvement.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
It is definitely expanding by the day, so yes, there always is!
