In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is listening and singing along to the musical "Kiss of the Spider Woman" with my brother in the basement of our house. It won the Tony award for best musical in 1993. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Crowned”
I chose this song because it has the magic, the mojo. The song has multiple meanings, meaning within meaning...it takes you through changes seamlessly. The guitar tone is delicious. And, well, it's also just damn fun to drive to! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Playing Pridefest in Seattle in front of thousands...The energy was crazy! Also, those little moments I have with the audience, when I can sense that there is a real connection happening between audience and performer.
