About Blockage
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
1984 was an eventful year. My first concert was Billy Joel at Boston Garden (3/26/84). Then Summer Jam (7/14/84) with Twisted Sister, Ratt, Lita Ford & Cheap Trick. Finally, Suicidal Tendencies at The Channel (9/23/84). - Sean
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Ramones, Road to Ruin
The Clash, The Clash (2013 Remastered)
XTC, Black Sea (Bonus Track Version)
The Clash S/T - energy and attitude for days, Ramones Road to Ruin - it had the most variety of their early albums, XTC Black Sea because it was a non-punk album with a punk soul.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Are You Ready for the Summer?”
I’m a Gen X kid, and Meatballs is one of my favorite nostalgic movies. I never went to camp, so I live vicariously through it. My favorite movie with no plot. I’ve wanted to cover this song for decades.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Getting to play with The Muffs @thepunkrocksocial, "Baby I'm the Man" going into rotation on Underground Garage, playing shows with Marky Ramone, reuniting onstage with the Queers in Hollywood
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We just want to gain some dedicated fans who will sing along at shows. Playing some killer punk festivals would be rad.
