Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was eight years old in Liverpool, I had recently gained unfettered access to the internet and I heard The Beatles' She Loves You for the first time. I was jumping on the bed.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, Mylo Xyloto Novo Amor, Cannot Be, Whatsoever The Beatles, Abbey Road (Super Deluxe Edition) 2019 Remix & Remaster People think Sgt Peppers is the pinnacle of The Beatles career. Wrong. Coldplay is cool. Mylo Xyloto was the first album I saved up for and bought. Novo Amor is one of the greatest artists of his generation. My good friend Angie, got me onto him.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Got Love” This was the first song I released after getting dropped from my label. I had suffered a mental breakdown and I lost all motivation to make music. This song was one of the first moments of real self achievement and it saved my life.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2020 I met a man who gave me so much hope for my original career. He introduced me to Amy Shark and then I had a working relationship with her. We released a song with my old label, however this was removed when I was dropped in January of 2022.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Perform at Glastonbury. Perform on Jools Holland. Play on Like A Version - Triple J.
