In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the crowd at our first show. First song kicks in, and people I've never seen or met before started going crazy. I got the biggest adrenaline rush of all time, and hopped off stage to join them. We've carried that energy with us ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Deftones, White Pony Money, Stovepipe Turnstile, NEVER ENOUGH These three have all been on repeat this fall. Now that our full-band shows are done for the year, we've been planning our 2026, and second album. These albums encapsulate the influence of genres we're drawing from on album two.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “If It's Not Gonna Be You” I love how this song was created. It started as a drum loop and piano riff in Logic. From there I kept toying around with melodies and vocal flows until I found the pairing that fit the song best.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our album release show at Jack's was one to remember. Seeing old friends, meeting new friends, and all of us getting to share a legendary local stage. The whole event being self-promoted and self-organized had us feeling very proud and grateful.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things. We wanna headline festivals, sell out shows, and release more albums! Kitchen Knives is just getting started.
