Artist Biography
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My father and my uncle took me to Knoxville TN when I was about 5 years old to buy me my first banjo.
From there it has stuck around and challenged me for a lifetime. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
George Jones, The George Jones Collection
George Strait, Best of George Strait
Hank Williams, Jr., All My Rowdy Friends: Best of Hank Jr
These three are the legendary Kings of country music.
Of course there’s more, but for me these three define what the entire genre is about and are some of the finest examples who ever lived. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Last Nights Sins”
This one is a blast because it was envisioned as me and the band toured all over the south.
With rigorous schedules and the hard work ethic of the road, you don’t want to be sweating out last nights sins! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
For me it was opening for Brooks and Dunn and David Allan Coe, those guys are legendary. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I feel like we are just getting started, there are so many opportunities for country music to be spread to new audiences, we’ve only tapped a small segment this far.
