A rambunctious lo-fi rock & roll duo, Twisted Teens play rough-hewn but passionate music informed by blues, country, garage rock, and punk. Combining drum machines with live percussion, six-string guitar, and slide guitar, Twisted Teens fused the sounds of the past and present on their debut album, 2024's Twisted Teens, recorded fast and loose in a makeshift home studio. Despite touring and other commitments keeping them busy, they issued a follow-up in late 2025, Blame the Clown, and delivered two LPs in 2026, Florida Water Blues and their first release for Sub Pop, The Holy Cross Tigers.
