Artist Biography
Since 1995, singer and pastor Deitrick Haddon has recorded more than 20 albums, five of which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.
∙ During his ’90s run leading Voices of Unity, the group won New Artist of the Year and Album of the Year honors from the Gospel Music Workshop of America.
∙ Lost and Found, his 2002 debut solo LP, was nominated for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album at the 2002 Grammy Awards.
∙ Appealing to both gospel and pop audiences, Haddon appeared on Soul Train in 2004 to perform “God is Good” and “Crossroads.”
∙ Famed production duo Tim & Bob (Boyz II Men, TLC, Sisqó) worked on his albums 7 Days and Revealed.
∙ In 2020, Haddon’s “I Can’t Breathe”—inspired by George Floyd’s death and the Black Lives Matter movement—was featured on the Juneteenth episode of the TV show The View.
