In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest connection to music was Phil Collins on the radio and a cassette of The California Raisins that no one in my family remembers buying. Eventually, my father forced me to listen to Neil Young, which would later be viewed positively.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Radiohead, OK Computer The Smashing Pumpkins, Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness (2012 Remastered) Weezer, Pinkerton These records are the reason I want to make records for the rest of my life. Real bummer that we all know too much about what Billy Corgan thinks, these days.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “On Ex-Husbands and Wives” I think this one came together pretty well. One of our "Divorce EPs" and, in my head, one of the places that this chapter of the band really started.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring Germany in 2015 was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I ate as much doner kabob as I could. The weather was nice, so were the people, every city more beautiful than the last, etc.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We're working on a new album, I'd like it to be a double album, we'll see what happens. I'd like to go back to Europe on tour.
