About Piebald
Piebald are an American rock band whose tuneful yet angular melodies and sharp guitar attack helped them grow into one of the major acts in the emocore scene. The group started when the members were still in high school, and on their debut album, 1997's When Life Hands You Lemons, they were steeped in hardcore. By the time they cut their breakthrough LP, 2002's We Are the Only Friends We Have, their sound and outlook gained maturity and they were the new heroes of the emo scene. Though the band split not long after the release of 2007's Accidental Gentlemen, in 2016 Piebald began playing out again, and they gave their loyal fans a new studio album in 2026, Tales for the Rages.
