Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. What a great question. My first musical memory is of my mom and brother having their piano lessons and peeking around the corner to watch every second. I must have been four.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Women Are Like Wine” This is a fight song. As an older female artist, industry professionals pass me by. It makes me so mad for women. I am just now in my musical prime after a lifetime of training. I think of all the other women out there who are thrown away for aging.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The moment I finished all the lead vocals for my latest album, FIRE. I don't have a lot of extra money and that means there is more pressure in the studio. It was 11 lead vocals in 5 days. But I did it and knew I had something I could be proud of.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything is left! It's really hard being an independent artist competing with those who have backing or a lot of money to spend to get the best videos up online, leading to great live shows, and new records. It's all on the list.
