Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents were musicians, and my earliest memories were of them playing in smoky bars, coming home late at night, and going to work the next day. For many years, I wasn't sure how I felt about a life in music, but somehow...I guess it found me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Beaches, Blame Brett - Single The Linda Lindas, The Linda Lindas - EP Wet Leg, Wet Leg The girls have taken a backseat long enough...so if you're her, and have a kickass song...I'm all ears!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lightbulb” I love to animate my own music videos (a career-limiting decision, but I love it, so whatever). I had SO much fun writing, recording, engineering, and later...animating the stop-motion video for this track!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I took home Songwriter of the Year at the YYC Music Awards...which honestly wasn't my 'biggest' achievement musically speaking, but receiving recognition in my hometown of Calgary was such an honour and a thrill!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I live a privileged life in a beautiful country. My only true desire is to help others, be kind, and share some love and joy with those that need it most...xo
