Artist Biography
A well-traveled and prolific guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, Ken Nicol won his first bit of fame in the '70s, in the band he formed with Pete Marsh called Nicol & Marsh's Easy Street. After the duo split, Nicol continued to perform and work as a solo artist. In 1990, Nicol began releasing numerous solo records. He also found time join British folk legends the Albion Band. Nicol would eventually go on to join seminal English folk-rock group Steeleye Span and -- over the course of his career -- keep busy as a regular session player, contributing guitar to a number of different artists' works. ~ Chris True
