Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is the watershed moment for me. I remember sitting stunned in front of my mom's stereo speakers as a child..."What is this incredible emotion I'm experiencing?" It absolutely started my lifelong rock journey.

Soundgarden, Superunknown
All three of these albums represent rock to a higher power. Sophisticated, powerful, visceral. Each taught me that rock music can rise with intelligence. Deep, emotional influences on me as both as a vocalist and songwriter.
