Formed as a brothers trio, Canadian Christian country band High Valley self-released their 2007 debut, Broken Borders, which blended bluegrass and contemporary country in their faith-based songs.
∙ In 2011, they won five Gospel Music Association of Canada’s Covenant Awards, including Artist of the Year and Group of the Year.
∙ After slimming down to a duo in 2014, High Valley’s hit single “Make You Mine”—featuring the brothers’ hero Ricky Skaggs—spent 22 weeks on Billboard’s Canada Country chart.
∙ The Canadian Country Music Association honored them with the award for Group or Duo of the Year two years in a row—in 2015 and 2016.
∙ 2017’s “I Be U Be” topped Billboard’s Canada Country chart, becoming the first of two No. 1 hits for the band.
