About NYRE
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember seeing Madonna and the Spice Girls on tv, and being mesmerized by how they seemed to entertain and connect so well with their audiences. It made me so happy seeing so many people smiling and I knew I wanted to be able to do the same!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Halsey, BADLANDS (Deluxe Edition)
Miley Cyrus, Bangerz (Deluxe Version)
Taylor Swift, Red (Deluxe Version)
Halsey's Badlands because it made me see a space for myself in music. Miley's Bangerz because it got me through freshman year of high school. Taylor's Red because the songwriting is so beautiful, raw, honest, and timeless.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Performing at Lee's Palace in Toronto was a big accomplishment that allowed me to bring to life a more theatrical live performance with choreographed moments drawing on my acting background. It's also a legendary venue I'm so honoured to have played!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I want to do everything!! I want to connect more with my audience, release an album, go on tour, and write even better songs!
