About Home Free
Formed in 2000, country-leaning Minneapolis a cappella group Home Free honed their talent by performing more than 200 gigs a year on cruise ships and at festivals.
∙ In 2013, the quintet won Season Four of NBC’s a cappella competition show, The Sing-Off, thanks to a beatbox- and harmony-heavy performance of Hunter Hayes’ “I Want Crazy.”
∙ They’ve collaborated with country legends The Oak Ridge Boys and Charlie Daniels and provided backing vocals on Kenny Rogers’ 2015 song “Children, Go Where I Send Thee.”
∙ After winning The Sing-Off, the group released five studio albums that made the Top 10 on the US Country charts.
∙ Home Free made their Grand Ole Opry debut in 2018.
∙ Diana Ross personally invited them to sing at her 75th birthday party after she saw a video of the band covering The Supremes’ version of “Love Train.”
