Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was first inspired to become a musician when a woman played a beautiful classical piece on a golden flute in a school assembly when I was 7. I took flute lessons for the next 11 years, then later became a dance pop musician in NYC.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dance Dance Dance” I love the mood, tone and message of this song. It's all about feeling confident and having fun even when people are criticizing you. I think I struck a great balance between confidence, fun and menace with this song, and I'm super proud of it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I love the movie Selena and the scene of her performing her last show in Houston. When I performed in Houston, I told the audience how I wanted to say, "How you doin', Houston, Texas?!" just like Selena, and I did it with them and it ruled.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to find out that artists I love also love my songs.
