A pioneering force in the contemporary progressive metal scene, England's TesseracT welds the technical to the conceptual in sprawling yet well-articulated recordings. The band issued a handful of demos and EPs before releasing their debut album, One, in 2011. They found commercial success in 2015 with the arrival of Polaris, which appeared on both the U.K. and U.S. charts and continued to tighten their brutal and cerebral sound on acclaimed efforts like 2018's Sonder and 2023's War of Being.
