When Saints Go Machine are an experimental Danish group whose immersive sound encompasses art-pop, electro-pop, house, ambient, and even orchestral music. The band rose quickly out of Copenhagen's underground electronic scene in the late 2000s, becoming one of its premier acts, especially with the release of their second album, 2011's critically lauded Konkylie. That record and its 2013 follow-up, Infinity Pool, were Top Five hits in Denmark. After a six-year gap, When Saints Go Machine returned with 2019's ambitious So Deep, made with the Copenhagen Philharmonic. After this, they resumed their prolific pace, issuing another album every two years, with 2023's Rosy returning them to the charts after a decade's absence.
