About Breabach
A dynamic Scottish folk group with roots in various Highland and Island traditions, Breabach brings a progressive approach to their arrangements which have earned them numerous awards and accolades. From their auspicious beginnings winning the Celtic Connection's Danny Kyle Open Stage Award, they have toured the globe, releasing inventive albums like Astar (2016) and Frenzy of the Meeting (2018), and scoring the animated film Dùsgadh (2021). They have also collaborated outside their genre with artists like Quebec's Le Vent du Nord, New Zealand's Moana & the Tribe, and American video game composer Big Giant Circles. Breabach released their eighth album, Fàs, in 2022, and in 2025 toured in celebration of their 20th anniversary.
