About The Bridges
Alabama-based family band The Bridges combine a love for classic 1960s and 70’s pop with a distinctly Southern jangle-pop influence straight out of the 80’s college rock handbook. Composed of four siblings and a first cousin (sulty-voiced lead singer Brittany Painter) the group excels at multi-part vocal harmonies and earthy instrumental interplay.
Signed to Verve Records, the band worked with power pop veteran Matthew Sweet on its debut LIMITS OF THE SKY, which recalls artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Crosby, Stills and Nash, and Sweet’s own short-lived band, The Thorns.
