About Buurman
Formed in Limburg, Belgium in 2008, lead vocalist Geert Verdickt, guitarist Stijn Gevaert, bassist Koen Tote, pianist Jens Blaute, and drummer Maarten Moesen, aka Buurman, first caught the public's attention in 2008 when they finished second on TV talent show, Zo Is Er Maar Een. After recording their debut album, Rocky, Komt Altijd Terug the same year, they then went on to perform at the Marktrock and Dranouter festivals, and released their sophomore effort, Mount Everest, in 2010. ~ Jon O'Brien
