Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a very young child I can remember peering through the smoke and watching my father's quintet rehearse in the basement of our home. This was in the early sixties and the Cool Jazz movement. There was a romance to it that I'm still attracted too.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Israel & New Breed, Alive in South Africa (Live) Steely Dan, Aja Remastered Tom Petty, Wildflowers These three albums were pivotal moments in my development as a singer-songwriter. As a Christian artist they helped me establish my own voice, and message. In a larger sense they encouraged me to be bold, revealing, and an honest version of myself.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Doxology” I chose this as it's a staple of my live events. It was written when I was first called into ministry, and has been an engaging favorite for many years. It's continued to grow over that time and is never performed the same.
