Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I went on family summer holidays to Morocco by car. During these trips, Riffian and Arabic music played against a backdrop of landscapes slowly turning red.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Don’t Bend” Growing up in the diaspora in a Western country, I found myself conforming to the dominant culture. I wrote this song as a personal mantra, a refusal to bend and an attempt to live unapologetically.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring in Morocco - the motherland of my parents - has been one of the most memorable and wholesome experiences so far.
