About Gun Outfit
Gun Outfit are a Los Angeles-based indie rock band with a spacious, lo-fi sound evocative of open landscapes. They originated in Olympia, Washington in the late 2000s when they released their first two albums. With 2012's Hard Coming Down, they relocated to California and adopted the dreamier, psych-oriented sound that characterized their next two albums, 2015's Dream All Over and 2017's Out of Range. A lengthy gap followed between releases, although they could be seen in Joe DeNardo's 2021 indie film Slow Machine. When they finally returned to music, it was with the 2026 double album Process and Reality.
