About Mclusky
With their roaring sound and mordant wit, Mclusky are one of the U.K.'s most acclaimed and influential acts. The scrappy Welsh post-hardcore band's pummeling attack -- hit home by frontman Andy Falkous' scathing vocals -- made 2002's Mclusky Do Dallas a masterclass of acerbic indie rock and 2004's The Difference Between Me and You Is That I'm Not on Fire an outburst of caustic noise-rock.Following Mclusky's sudden 2005 split, Falkous and drummer Jack Egglestone founded the equally sardonic Future of the Left, but the foundations of a reunion were laid in the mid-2010s. By the 2020s, Mclusky were touring the world, and releases like 2025's ferocious The World Is Still Here and So Are We and the 2026 EP i sure am getting sick of this bowling alley were the work of a band that was fiercer and funnier than ever.
