Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being in my living room & seeing on TV the late great Michael Jackson doing the moonwalk for the first time, and I was blown away at the moment. I started thinking to myself, is there any way I can contribute to the world as he did?
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blu & Exile, Below the Heavens Common, Be (20th Anniversary) John Mayer, Continuum Yes, I chose these albums in a particular order. Each album informed the way I approach music when I am writing; they also spoke to me in a time when I needed a voice for my pain or experiences. They also remind me of very special times in my life.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “All Around Me” This song was made at a tough time in my life. I wanted to write worship music, but I've never done anything like that before, and I didn't think I was worthy. Nonetheless, I tried, and this is probably the most important song I've ever written.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Oct 17th, 2017, I got to Headline at Klyde Warren Park, in Dallas, TX. I was the first Christian Rap Artist to Headline and one of my own friends got to do the show with me. His name was Brock "Asaint" Jones. He has since passed, but it was amazing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to headline at the House of Blues someday. Ive opened up at that venue before, but doing my own show would be a dream come true.
