About CAJUN RAIN
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is getting a silver tape player for Christmas when I was five. I started out listening to story tapes, but before long I was falling asleep every night with Def Leppard playing beside the bed.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Foo Fighters, The Colour and the Shape
Metallica, ...And Justice for All
The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album)
I really connected to Metallica their music helped me get through a tough period of my life.
And inspired me to become a song writer.
The Colour and the shape i think was a real treat wore that cd out.
I just love the Beatles dont you ?.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Playing my first full gig at The Champ in Appledore really stands out. It was boiling hot, but the room stayed with me from start to finish, and hearing people respond to songs I’d written made it feel like something real had begun.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Absolutely. I’d love to take Cajun Rain onto bigger festival stages, reach audiences well beyond the UK, and hear one of my songs recorded by another artist. Most of all, I want to keep writing songs that mean something to people.
