About Ovall
Japan's Ovall are a genre-bending trio who make an expansive, often chilled-out blend of progressive rock, jazz, hip-hop, and R&B. Hailing from Tokyo, the band features vocalist/keyboardist/bassist Shingo Suzuki, guitarist Shingo Sekiguchi, and drummer mabanua. Ovall debuted in 2010 with Don't Care Who Knows That, followed a year later by the Heart Fever EP. Their sophomore full-length, 2013's Dawn, included guest spots from singers Yu Sakai and Aoba Ichiko. In 2017, Ovall returned with In TRANSIT, which featured the single "Winter Lights." ~ Matt Collar
