About Watchhouse
Americana duo Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange) met in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in 2009, when they sat in together at a jam session with local band Big Fat Gap.
∙ Blindfaller, the duo’s third album, was included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 40 Best Country Albums of 2016—above releases by country superstars Dolly Parton and Dwight Yoakam.
∙ Their 2019 debut at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium sold out within a matter of hours, causing them to add a second show, which also sold out.
∙ Tides of a Teardrop debuted at No. 1 in 2019 on four separate Billboard charts: Heatseekers, Americana/Folk, Current Country Albums, and Bluegrass.
∙ The duo made their orchestral debut in concert with the Colorado Symphony in 2020.
