About Black Honey
Pitched as a marriage of Lana Del Rey-esque vocals and shoegaze à la '90s band Lush, Brighton, England indie rock quartet Black Honey mix girl group pop and alt-rock guitar. After a series of late-2010s singles and 2018's self-titled debut album, the band turned up the volume on the often-distorted blues-rock of 2021 sophomore album Written & Directed. 2023's A Fistful of Peaches continued in the same vein and, like its predecessor, hit the U.K. Top Ten. A fourth album, Soak, appeared in 2025, preceded by the singles "Psycho" and "Dead."
