The Strokes, Room On Fire
I (Alex) discovered this album in middle school and it, along with The Strokes as a band, quickly took over my whole life. It’s 100% purebred classic Strokes - no frills, just pointed, perfect rock songs by the coolest to ever do it.

It’s the last track on our very first EP we made when we were 17, and I just feel like it’s a really well-written song. Whereas most of the music we made from that time feels a bit dated and immature, that one holds up to me.
