In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being 4 or 5 years old, standing on stage at church seeing in the talent show. I was so nervous, but people kept encouraging me. I was singing the B-I-B-L-E.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, COWBOY CARTER Switchfoot, The Beautiful Letdown (Deluxe Version) Various Artists, Songs from "Touched By an Angel" Touched By an Angel soundtrack and Beautiful Letdown were two albums that really formed me in songwriting and genre. Cowboy Carter is just an amazing creative accomplishment and I find myself being challenged as a songwriter and an artist.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Can't Handle Me” Recording this song took me out of my comfort zone. I worked with people I had never met before. And I'm happy to say the risk paid off. I'm so proud of this song and the EP that it belongs to.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I recorded my version of Leon Russell's A Song for You and it has been so well received. That song is a beast and to have people like it and want to listen to it, is just amazing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to headling a festival. That's something we haven't done yet.
