About Resorte
Resorte is a nu metal/rap metal band from Mexico City. Founded during the mid-'90s they stood out immediately as one of the leading Mexican rock acts of the decade. Performing a nu-metal style similar to Disturbed and Rage Against the Machine, the band released 1997's República de Ciegos. Resorte moved to Los Angeles to work with producer Jason Roberts on their 1998 breakthrough, Los Clásicos del Rock en Español. Following the release of 2000's charting XL (also recorded with Roberts), the band toured North America in earnest, developing a fan base from Los Angeles to New York City. 2002's provocative F=kx Rebota established the band in Puerto Rico, Chile, and Argentina; it also charted in the United States. Despite touring and contributing music to soundtracks and compilations, Resorte didn't release another album for 22 years. In January 2024, a revamped sextet lineup released República Zombie.
