Texas R&B singer/songwriter Alesia Lani's rich, soulful voice, bold stage presence, and eclectic blend of musical styles have made her a local favorite and brought her exposure farther afield. Growing up on a diet of many varied styles of music, she developed an eclectic, individual sound: rooted in R&B with a smooth, warm, sultry vibe, it encompassed everything from neo-soul and hip-hop to funk, jazz, Latin music, and rock. Lani attracted a considerable local following and came to wider attention with appearances at various festivals including SXSW, Austin City Limits, and Toronto's Indie Week. Lani self-released her debut album, With Love, in 2020. It was followed by her 2023 sophomore effort Self Titled and 2024's Love like Lofi EP. ~ TiVo Staff
