• Born in Virginia and raised in Washington, D.C., Trel started rapping around 2008. He dropped his debut mixtape, Noska Musik, in 2009.
• After impressing Wale at an open-mic night, Trel became the first artist affiliated with the D.C. superstar’s Board Administration label.
• Trel signed with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group in 2013 and released his label debut, Gleesh, the following year.
• In 2018, roughly a year after being released from Arlington County Jail in Virginia, Trel released Finally Free, the first mixtape he ever recorded sober.
