About Shelby Earl
Seattle-based singer/songwriter Shelby Earl’s rock-edged reflections incorporate elements of country, blues, and folk. Her full-length debut, Burn the Boats, was produced by John Roderick (Harvey Danger, the Long Winters) and released by Local 638 Records in 2011. With production by Damien Jurado, much of her 2013 follow-up, the self-released Swift Arrows, was recorded in Seattle's Columbia City Theater. She signed with Nine Mile Records for her third LP, The Man Who Made Himself a Name, which arrived in 2017. It included the single “Like I Do,” a duet with Josiah Johnson of the Head and the Heart. ~ Marcy Donelson
