About Scary Kids Scaring Kids
Post-hardcore sextet Scary Kids Scaring Kids (the name was lifted from a Capt’n Jazz song) blend elements of melodic indie rock, metal, and ferocious, screamo-enhanced thrash. The group released their debut EP AFTER DARK when the bandmembers were still in high school. This led to a deal with Immortal Records, who re-released the EP in 2004, and issued full-length THE CITY SLEEPS IN FLAMES in 2005. Scary Kids toured extensively with such acts as Silverstein, Funeral for a Friend, Emery, and Haste the Day. They also played on the Warped Tour in 2006 and 2007. Their self-titled 2007 sophomore release showed the band expanding their musical palette.
