Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dancing with my mom and sister after school, listening to a cassette my dad had just brought home on our Sanyo C7 boombox.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joe Hisaishi, HANA-BI (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Kraftwerk, Computer World (Remastered) Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life no such things as top 3 all-time for a true music lover but, Hana-bi is extremely touching to me and deeply resonates with my emotional inner world. Stevie forever, I ain't gotta say it, and you already know. Kraftwerk is a necessity for us all.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Closing MUTEK’s 25th anniversary at the SAT Dome in Montreal was unforgettable. I didn’t know how the room or crowd would respond, but the energy was ecstatic, the audience locked in, and delivering that moment felt like a true career milestone.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Producing an album for or with Shahram Shabpareh. Playing shows with bands consisting of full sections, big productions. Concert halls and orchestral performances.
