About Les Big Byrd
Les Big Byrd is a Swedish psychedelic rock band with a style that draws on synthesizers, Krautrock influences, and a forward-thinking and often experimental approach to their recordings. They started out with an expansive style of indie rock with less obvious psych and space rock influences on the 2014 debut album They Worshipped Cats, while 2018's Iran Iraq Ikea brought their sound into a more synth-driven place. The band continued evolving on further releases like 2024's largely instrumental Diamonds, Rhinestones and Hard Rain, and their fifth studio album, 2026's Ruin Everything.
Members of Les Big Byrd include, or have included, Joakim Åhlund.
