Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was watching a band perform at my local high school. I remember thinking, “That’s what I want to do.” It was the first time I realised music wasn't just something I listened to — it was something I felt.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Biffy Clyro, Puzzle Foo Fighters, The Colour And The Shape Nine Inch Nails, The Downward Spiral (Deluxe Edition) These albums shaped how I think about music. The Colour and the Shape taught me the power of great songs, Puzzle showed me how fearless songwriting can be, and The Downward Spiral showed me how closely beauty and chaos can coexist.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Lost at Sea” We chose "Lost At Sea" because it captures everything we love about As A Rival — emotional honesty, big melodies, and heavy guitars. Years later, it's still one of our favourite songs to play live and the song we'd tell new listeners to start with.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments has been realising people have attached their own stories to our songs. Knowing music we've written has meant something to someone else is hard to top.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We'd love to take As A Rival overseas and share stages with some of the bands that inspired us growing up. More than anything, we want to keep building a community around the music and reaching new listeners.
