Artist Biography
An international female-fronted quartet based in Sweden, Blues Pills' vamp-heavy sound weds 21st century neo-psychedelia, metallic blues, retro-soul, and hard rock. After a handful of singles and touring incessantly for nearly two years, the group signed to Nuclear Blast for their charting, self-titled 2014 long-player. Blues Pills made their international breakthrough with 2016's Lady in Gold, following it up with 2020's Holy Moly! Retreating to the Swedish countryside, the band recorded their fourth album, 2024's emotionally charged Birthday.
